Remarks - The weather started out foggy in morning, then cleared up to about 5 miles visibility in haze. It slowing got cooler and very hazy late in day with visibility about 2 miles. Winds never got much above 10 knots and we never got much above 3.5 knots in speed. Sailed to Island Beach State park to see if there was a marina at the park. We found a "gathering area" where ate least 100 boats were anchored, some in groups swimming and partying. There were water taxis taking people to shore and a passing boat advised us that there was a board walk crossing to the ocean. We anchors had lunch and I went swimming. Checked the keel motion under the boat because we anchored in about 6' of water and the visibility was good enough to see the movement of the keel for the first time. Everything seemed to be OK. We continued to sail further south along the park to see if we were able to sail directly to Barneget Light house. We found the it was very shallow and a lot of grass prevented us from getting to the light house. I guess the only way to get there is to use the designated channels. We sailed back to Trixies and the winds were favorable enough to sail right to dock with no motor. All systems functioned normally. No problems with boat.
