Remarks - Left late in day about 2:30 finally got underway. Light winds. Sailed until 10pm. First time sailing at night. Ate Heater Meals, similar to what the military eats. We were pretty good. We had spaghetti and meatballs and pepper steak. It is surprisingly how hot they get. Details are at http://www.heatermeals.com. We got them locally at Harry Army and navy Store. Great! Anchored off North Beach ( Long Beach Island,NJ) for night. Ended up next several small sailboats also anchored close by. Winds picked up to about 15 knots at night. Temperatures were in the 50's but was very comfortable. Robin slept in V berth with forward hatch open, Dotti and I slept in cockpit under stars in sleeping bags. Very nice! All electrical systems except steaming light were ok. Light was checked before departure but must have blown out. Anchors held well in winds.
