When was the last time you heard a car alarm go off? Did you call the police? Did you check out why it went off to see if was being stolen?? Probably not!!! We all are accustomed to hearing false alarms that we do not pay attention to anymore!

Factory Installed Systems Systems that are preinstalled in the factory that are designed to warn if the car is being stolen. Pro’s

1. Warranted by the car manufacturer.
2. Alerts you if car is being stolen.

Con’s
1. May not be available on all types of cars..
2. All schematics are published in service manuals available to anyone.
3. May not provide the protection the customer wants or needs.
4. Some do not do the job properly. Example- All Camaros and Firebirds have had a VAT (Vehicle Anti Theft System) since the late 80’s. Both cars are on the Top Ten List for Vehicles stolen in this country.
5. Remote control batteries must be replaced often.
