The Alternative® Lock System is simple system that simply works! The Alternative® Lock System (AL 1, AL 1P, AL 1LP) is not an alarm system - No False Alarms! The Alternative® Lock System is designed to protect your vehicle by stopping the thief the way he steals the car. He cannot "Hot Wire" the car through the ignition switch. He cannot "steal" your frequency from your transmitter. If he tampers with the system, it does not "fail safe" - IT SHUTS DOWN! The schematics are not published and are known only by APM. In fact, every code is wired differently and every installer is trained to place it in the car a little differently. Color codes for the wires are changed and this randomizes the system even more. If a thief thinks he can take apart one of our systems and trace the wires to disarm every system, he can't. By using random combinations, changing wire colors it makes it virtually impossible to decode our system in the field.
This system has tested in one of the highest crime areas in the country - The Northeast USA Since 1987, and has proved itself time and time again.
